Buyer questions

Does a 4000 A reference mean every feeder is rated 4000 A?No. Busbar, incoming and outgoing circuit ratings are different design inputs. Each feeder and drawer must be specified from the load schedule and approved assembly design.

Is GCS interchangeable with GGD or MNS?No. GCS is a withdrawable cabinet family, GGD is a fixed arrangement and MNS is another cabinet system. Compare the specified structure, ratings, circuit arrangement and verification evidence rather than assuming direct interchangeability.

Can GCS be used for motor-control sections?MCC duties can be reviewed from the motor list and starting method. Drawer sizes, control interfaces, heat dissipation and spare circuits must be agreed for the project.

Is every listed short-time rating available with every configuration?No. The 15/30/50 kA references are not freely combinable options. Confirm the exact assembly, duration, components and supporting verification documents for the offered rating.
