Authorized and intelligent platforms

Authorized cabinet systems for qualified MV and LV distribution projects.

JCON ELEC can review Schneider Electric, Siemens and intelligent cabinet platform requirements together with drawings, certificate scope, component brand preference and project standards.

When to select an authorized cabinet platform

Authorized platforms are usually requested when the owner, consultant or EPC specification requires a named cabinet system, verified document package, original component configuration or higher short-circuit withstand range.

  • Use exact platform wording only when the project certificate and document scope supports it.
  • Confirm the voltage level, rated current, short-circuit rating, protection degree and component brand before quotation.
  • Match each platform to the actual application instead of treating all authorized cabinets as interchangeable.

RFQ inputs

Information needed before technical review.

For authorized platform projects, the quotation is faster when the required cabinet platform and certificate scope are clear at the first inquiry.

Electrical scope

Single-line diagram, panel list, rated current, busbar current, short-circuit rating, feeder quantity and load schedule.

Platform requirement

Specified cabinet system, component brand, protection degree, form of separation, internal arc requirement and document package.

Project conditions

Destination country, project standard, installation environment, delivery term, packing requirement and inspection plan.

Authorized supplier comparison

Compare platform compliance before comparing price.

When a tender names Schneider, Siemens or another cabinet platform, the important question is whether the offered scope matches the required platform, documents and component basis.

Approval basisConfirm whether the owner accepts original brand supply, an authorized cabinet system, or an equivalent configuration with technical deviation statement.
Certificate scopeCheck whether the required voltage, current, short-circuit rating, IP rating and cabinet structure fall within the supported document scope.
Component configurationCompare breaker, relay, meter, contactor, capacitor, communication and protection component brands against the tender requirement.
Delivery boundaryClarify whether quotation includes platform documents, factory test report, packing, spare parts, inland freight, sea freight and destination charges.

Read the global switchgear manufacturer comparison guide before choosing a quotation route.

FAQ

Buyer questions

Can JCON quote a named authorized cabinet system?Yes, when the requested platform and document scope are supported by the qualified project requirements, certificate scope and available component configuration.
Are authorized platforms interchangeable? No. MVnex, Blokset, Prisma E, SIVACON 8PT, SIBOARD and CGZ1 6.0 have different voltage ranges, current ranges, structures and approval expectations.
What should be included in the inquiry?Send the platform name, SLD, BOQ, rated current, short-circuit rating, IP rating, component brand, certificate requirement and destination standard.
How should buyers compare authorized cabinet suppliers?Compare authorized cabinet suppliers by approved platform scope, certificate applicability, component configuration, factory documentation, test records, deviation statement and project delivery boundary.
