PLC, VFD and Motor Control Cabinets

Project-built PLC, VFD, soft starter and ATS control cabinets. Review motor loads, I/O, control logic, component brands and commissioning scope with JCON ELEC.

Busbar and current-transformer assembly process reference
Assembly-process reference only, not a complete PLC, VFD or pump control cabinet. Request photographs and drawings for the proposed cabinet configuration during project review.

Scope of supply

JCON ELEC reviews control cabinet packages for production lines, pumps, fans and process equipment. PLC logic, motor starting and power distribution are separate functions: the offered combination follows the equipment list and control narrative.

Price and lead time follow the confirmed drawings, component brands and supply scope. The quotation must state packing, freight, destination, Incoterms and any site-service exclusions.

Reference ratings

Voltage reference380 V AC / 220 V DC as listed in JCON materials; confirm the main supply and each control circuit separately.
Circuit and fault ratingsCircuit current and short-time withstand capability require the motor/load schedule and system design; no universal rating is offered.
Enclosure referenceIP30 reference; an outdoor IP54 proposal requires review of the actual enclosure, climate and thermal design.
Referenced documentsJCON materials list GB/T 7251.1-2023 and GB 50063. Confirm the applicable product and project requirements for the offered assembly.

Reference: JCON product materials. These values are not a guaranteed combined configuration; approved drawings and applicable verification documents govern the offer.

Configuration routes

These are RFQ routes, not pre-engineered packages. Confirm the actual ratings, brands and verification basis before ordering.

ApplicationConfiguration to reviewBuyer inputs
PLC and process controlRequest this configurationPLC, HMI, signal acquisition and interlocks reviewed against the control narrative.I/O list, operating sequence, sensor signals, communication protocol and PLC/HMI brand.
VFD or soft starter motor controlRequest this configurationStarting method and any continuous speed-control requirement are reviewed separately for each motor.Motor power/current, duty, starting frequency, speed range if required, drive brand and ventilation conditions.
Pump, fan and ATS coordinationRequest this configurationDuty/standby sequences, local/automatic modes and power-transfer interfaces are defined by the project.Equipment quantity, standby relationship, permissives, alarms, supply sources and commissioning responsibility.

Documents and acceptance scope

Agree document deliverables and checks against the offered assembly. A company certificate or standards reference does not verify every configuration.

For quotationMotor/load list, I/O schedule, control narrative, preferred brands and destination requirements.
For design approvalAgreed schematic, component list, terminal plan, signal/communication interfaces and PLC/HMI software deliverables.
For acceptanceAgreed checks of control sequences, permissives, alarms and local/automatic modes; define simulation, site commissioning and acceptance responsibilities separately.
FAQ

Buyer questions

Can a PLC and a VFD be supplied in the same cabinet? They can be reviewed as one package. The PLC controls the sequence and signals; the drive arrangement, motor duty, cooling and interfaces must still be specified for the actual design.
Is a soft starter the same as a variable-frequency drive? No. State whether the requirement is motor starting/stopping or continuous speed regulation. The starting method and drive selection must follow the load and process requirements.
Can the specified component brands be replaced to reduce cost?Any alternative must be identified separately with its technical differences and submitted for buyer approval. A lower-cost alternative does not replace the requested-brand offer without agreement.
Does the price include PLC programming and site commissioning?Only if explicitly included in the quotation. Confirm software, licenses, source files, remote support, site services and the acceptance procedure before comparing prices.
